Variable Definitions

Variables used in calculations are partly defined in the modules used by Regimes, and partly in the Variable Definitions window. To open the window, go to Tools > Edit Variable Definitions, or press F5.

Variables are organized in groups. Variable names follow the Dot Notation convention: they begin with the group name followed by sub-groups until the name becomes most detailed, for example, Production.AllOil.BOE.Volume. The maximum length is 255 characters. Names cannot contain = \ ; : * <> / @ ? | “ +.

The Copy and Delete buttons at the bottom of the screen are activated only when a variable is selected, and not a group.
